· IT Training for Empowering Youth:

Since the inception of the Okeogun Green Revolution in 2017, Peter Adepoju has played a pivotal role in providing IT training to the youth of the community. With a focus on essential skills such as Excel, Microsoft Office, and basic computer proficiency, Peter has equipped over 200 youths with the necessary knowledge to excel in today’s digital age. By bridging the digital divide, Peter has empowered the youth to explore new opportunities and broaden their horizons.

· Simplifying Operations with an Excel Accounting Tool:

Recognizing the need for efficient record-keeping within Okeogun Green Revolution, Peter took the initiative to create an Excel sheet that serves as a comprehensive accounting tool for the company. This innovative solution has simplified financial management, enabling the organization to maintain accurate records and make informed financial decisions. Peter has provided the team with a valuable resource for smooth and effective financial management through his Excel expertise and understanding of the company’s requirements.

· Webmaster Extraordinaire:

As the webmaster of Okeogun Green Revolution’s website, Peter has been instrumental in ensuring its seamless operation. With his technical prowess and attention to detail, he has maintained the website’s functionality, enhanced user experience, and implemented necessary updates. OKEOGUN YOUTHS SUMMIT 2017

Preamble: To the glory of Olodumare, the summit held on the 15^th of July at Iseyin City Hall as planned. The summit was attended by about 1500 youths from all the 10 local governments and from across the country. Apart from 130 participants who registered online before the summit, 769 others registered at the venue while there were about 400 secondary school students from across the region.

Guest Speakers: Apart from the representatives of youth councils from the various local governments who gave key note addresses , the welcome address was done by High Prince Leye Babalola ,a Chattered Tax Consultant based in Lagos and the Chairman Board of Trustees of the Association;

Professor – A A Ladele – University of Ibadan

Dr Olofintila – Yaba College of Technology, Lagos

Mr Bayo  Adeleke   – Non Executive Director, May and Baker Nigeria Plc

Aseyin of Iseyin and Onjo of Okeho also gave key note addresses while Mr Bimpe Aderonmu who represents Dr Ajuwon, the Chairman of OKe- Ogun Development forum also gave a key note address.

About 500 Copies Career Guide Books were distributed free to the secondary school participants

There were also light entertainment from indigenous and youth artists.

Food and drinks were served and certificate of participation was issued to some of the participants while we promised to prepare for the rest in a later date due to unexpected number of participants

There was no any security incident, the program was peaceful and all our delegates returned to their destination peacefully.

We also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Niji Farms Ilero for the training of 60 participants in the act of farming. The training is for 6 Months after which farm lands shall be allocated to them according to their capacity to start their faming career. The association is to pay stipend to the participants in the Agriculture Training for 3 months while Niji farms will pay them for the following 3 months.
